Panama is the current focus of our medical and dental brigades. Despite its abundance of resources and impressive 9% annual GDP growth, Panama suffers from the most extreme case of wealth distribution inequity in the Western Hemisphere.

The rural communities we visit are selected on an extensive study based on need and access to healthcare, and include a database of information to establish baseline demographic information. We work with Latino groups as well as the indigenous Embera and Guna groups. We strive to empower these communities with various health, educational, and developmental programs while always keeping in mind the vast cultural differences and complexities.
